Operations Assistant

With a diverse background spanning hospitality, healthcare, and operations, Ula is a dedicated and adaptable professional who thrives in dynamic environments. After graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Tourism of Mediterranean Countries and Hotel Management from Poland, Ula pursued her passion for growth and new experiences by moving to London in 2011. Over the next eight years, she honed her skills in the hospitality sector, advancing from a floor supervisor to a cluster training manager and HR assistant, before transitioning to healthcare.

During the pandemic, Ula took the opportunity to join the NHS, qualifying as a pharmacy dispenser and working across local GP surgeries and pharmacies as a locum. In 2023, she expanded her role in primary care by joining West Kent Primary Care, working as an admin/receptionist for enhanced access clinics.

In April 2024, Ula joined The BIS as an Operations Assistant, where she serves as a key liaison between clients, their teams, and the company. Her responsibilities include general administrative tasks, scheduling, handling new referrals and client onboarding, and assisting with the daily rehabilitation reports. Ula’s passion for helping others and her drive to continuously develop her skills align perfectly with The BIS’s values, which encourage her to be herself and pursue new goals. She is currently planning to enroll in brain injury courses and pursue First Aid certification.

Outside of work, Ula has a deep passion for animal rescue, well-being, live music, and travel. She is also fascinated by medicine, particularly neurology and cardiology, and enjoys learning new languages. A proud cat mom to three “kitty-boys,” Ula recently fulfilled her dream of living by the seaside with her partner. In her free time, she loves reading, cooking, and spending time in the garden.

Fun fact: Ula has a rich background in music, having worked as a show and tour manager for metal bands during her university years. She also has the unique ability to mix three languages in a single sentence!
