Jodie is the HR & Recruitment assistant here at BIS Services, helping with a variety of operational and administrative tasks whilst also supporting the recruitment team with the hiring process. She graduated in Social Policy and Social Change from the University of Kent.
Jodie’s primary duties include assisting with the staff onboarding and offboarding process, managing Employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies, encouraging training and development among all staff members and playing a supportive role with any other HR related duties.
With two years experience in Human resources, Jodie was drawn to further her career at the BIS Services due to her admiration of everything they do to support individuals living with brain injuries and cognitive impairments. After being diagnosed with a neurological disorder herself in her late teenage years, Jodie has a new found appreciation for cognitive rehabilitation and the importance of this for people like herself, as well as an admiration for the commitment that The BIS has to increasing standards of neuro rehabilitation support. Jodie feels extremely lucky to work with so many people who share this ambition and commitment, and to be able to play a part in assisting the company achieve this shared goal.
A fun fact about Jodie is that she knows how to speak and understand Piggy Latin – a fun made up language that can be used to speak in code!
