Compliance Manager

Kathy began her career in 1978 as an Administrative Assistant for a local authority, specialising in scheduling maintenance repairs. After having two children, she continued her career with the local authority, earning a promotion to Supervisor. Kathy later transitioned to roles with maintenance companies as an Office Manager, where she played a key role in developing a bespoke system for scheduling and invoicing.

Kathy joined BIS in March 2019 as a founding member of the administration team. She worked with existing systems while implementing new processes as the company grew. Over time, she took on responsibilities in scheduling and general administration before moving into the role of New Referral Manager. In this role, Kathy focused on matching Cognitive Rehabilitation Assistants (CRAs) to new clients, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring all documentation was correctly received and filed.

Since January 2024, Kathy has been BIS’s Compliance Manager, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and conducting regular audits to maintain high standards. Her quietly confident and diligent approach, combined with her personable nature, has made her an invaluable member of the team.

Kathy is proud to be part of BIS and describes it as the best job she has ever had, enjoying the opportunity to witness the company’s continued growth. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family, including her four grandchildren. A fun fact about Kathy: she once took part in banger racing!
