Client Liaison Officer
BSc
I graduated in BSc Hons in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire in 2016. From here, I spent years building up experience working in various settings from rehabilitation centres and supported living homes to community outreach support supporting individuals with brain injury, mental health issues, physical disabilities and complex learning disabilities. Prior to COVID I also worked as a mobile sports massage therapist in events and home visits.
I have worked and continue to work as a Cognitive Rehabilitation Assistant and have done since I joined in March 2022. My journey at BIS Services expanded in September 2023 when I started my role as Client Liaison Officer.
My role as Client Liaison Officer includes completing a 6 week check in call with our new clients and to follow this up with a 6 monthly client check in call. For longer standing clients I complete yearly client surveys. Outside of this, I reach out to clients who are experiencing issues either with their support, problems within their personal lives or who just want to vent or chat with someone outside of their team. I relay issues that clients are experiencing to the relevant people within the office team and strategise to see how things can be resolved in the best way for the client.
Outside of my work, I enjoy being active, attending music events, cooking and spend some of my spare time volunteering at a sheep sanctuary caring for rescued and neglected sheep.
