And the award goes to……
Friday 9th March 2018 was a evening of great celebration. The Kent Women in Business awards, held at The Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone, saw a huge number of inspirational and strong business women join together.
Our Director, Natalie Mackenzie, had been shortlisted in 2 categories; Professional Achievement Award and Businesswoman of the Year (over 5 years). An honour in itself to be a finalist.
Natalie scooped the Professional Achievement award for her continued commitment to continued professional development and training. Since forming The BIS Services in 2006, Natalie has attained a number of qualifications to add to her existing BSc and MSc. She has trained as a Hypnotherapist, maintained a yearly renewal as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, attained certification as a Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist, and attended a number of specialist rehabilitation courses. Her experience and qualifications drive our training program forward, keeping us well informed of current changes and developments in Cognitive Rehabilitation and brain injury rehabilitation.
“It was such a huge honour to be nominated for the awards, and to be a double finalist was fantastic” commented Natalie. “The awards ceremony was a wonderful evening, and I met some very strong and inspirational women, all of whom strive to provide excellence in service provision and business. It was such a shock to win the award, and I am extremely grateful and humbled. I could not do it without the support of my wonderful team at The BIS Services. I am proud to provide a high level of service to our clients and pass on my experience and skills to my team and others. I am currently furthering my professional development and hope to offer more services shortly”
Huge congratulations to Natalie and many thanks to the organisers at KWIB for a fantastic evening.
