Natalie Mackenzie, MSc, CPCRT, CBIST
Director & Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist
Natalie graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2002 with a BSc Psychology. She went onto work within a community brain injury service where she progressed to Deputy Manager. During this time, she obtained her masters degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology in 2004. Natalie has many years experience in working with individuals with brain injury and is highly specialized in the area. She is a certified brain injury specialist, and accredited Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist. Natalie is an member of BABICM and UKABIF and sits on the steering committee for Kent Acquired Brain Injury group. In 2018 Natalie became a Trustee for Headway SELNWK. She is also a qualified Hypnotherapist and is the only Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer in the UK.

In October 2018 the team were also shortlisted for Kent Business of the Year and took home the prize for Professional Achievement. A very proud moment for all of Team BIS. 2019 Natalie took home the Kent Businesswoman of the year!
Eky Popat Bsc, MSc, CBIS
Operations Manager
Eky graduated from Kingston University with a BSc Psychology in 2009.She went on to pursue her interest in Psychology by furthering her education with a MSc in Applied Child Psychology. Eky has been an integral part of BIS Services since 2011, providing high level services to clients and has very successful outcomes measures. She was shortlisted as Young Achiever of the Year in the Rehab First awards in 2017 and has built an excellent reputation for working with particularly challenging clients. Eky also delivers the Mindfulness services offered at BIS Services and is involved in staff training, mentoring and supervision.
Eky is an active member of ABIL ( Acquired Brain Injury London) and is continuously updating her expertise in the area. Eky and Natalie are two of only a small handful of Certified Brain Injury Specialists in the UK.
Pedro Knight BSc
Client Liaison Manager
Pedro has been part of BIS for many years as an excellent Rehabilitation Assistant and has moved through the ranks to Team Leader and now Client Liaison Manager. Alongside Eky Popat, our well known Operations Director, Pedro will take lead on all new referrals.
Pedro will be on hand to manage the process from recruitment, through training, package set up, meet and greets, ongoing mentoring and supervision and 12 week embedding of the team. The packages will then move to the operations team and relevant Team Leaders.
Pedro has extensive experience in brain injury rehabilitation and his ability to engage the most challenging of clients quickly will ensure each and every package is set up and maintained in line with our exceptional standards.
Megan Boxall BSc 
Senior Team Leader and The Link Coordinator
Megan graduated in 2015 with a BSc in Psychology. She joined BIS Services in 2015 and rapidly built a successfully rapport with her clients. Megan has an instinctive ability to work with our client group and rapidly progressed to a senior rehabilitation assistant. Megan has completed a number of specialist courses in Brain Injury and Cognitive Rehabilitation.
Dimitrios Nakhid BSc, MSc
Senior Rehabilitation Assistant
Dimitrios joined BIS Services in 2016, previously having worked with challenging adolescents. He graduated with a BSc in Psychology and holds an MSc in Psychology research methods. His calm demeanour and ability to work with challenging individuals enables him to deliver a specialized level of input to some of the more challenging individuals.
Dimitrios is always keen to expand his CPD and is currently undertaking training in Hypnotherapy, as well as studying for a qualification in Nutrition.

Administrative Assistant and Staff Liaison Officer
Lisa forms part of our crucial administration team, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Lisa is also responsible for staff liaison and ensuring the busy rehabilitation assistants are supported with all administrative issues.
Kathy Cox
Administrative Assistant and Case Manager Liaison Officer
Kathy works alongside Lisa in our administration team, ensuring all the necessary day to day runnings of the service are met. She is the first port of call for incoming referrals and enquiries and ensures all documentation required for the team and service commissioners is delivered in a timely manner. Kathy is also on hand for all case manager and commissioner enquiries.
